Pneumatic Lamp

Design, with its emphasis on making things easier and more convenient may also have the negative side effect of allowing more waste. The pneumatic lamp does the opposite. It makes it harder to obtain light by requiring the user to blow it up before it turns on. The user feels some physical embodiment of energy wastage as energy is invested in manual inflation. Above is a 3d model and print of the base; the inflatable light is on the way.
