Reflection Loop dissects The Furby™ and uses its parts to engender new forms. Subjected to mind control, sensory manipulation and plastic surgery, The Furby is made to assume various new identities: molecule, pixel and specimen. This process of creation through reverse engineering questions the identity of Furby's maker and challenges our ethics in the Information Age.

Consumer products do not last forever. The electronics of Reflection Loop are destined to die: the pixels of The Pool are slowly breaking with every reflection; members of the Special Limited Edition Series are degrading with every performance. Eventually, the exhibit will evolve into an artifact of performance, a collection of memorabilia, a study in contemporary nostalgia.
