Xavier is a UX Engineer working at the AR and VR team at Google. His work at Google focuses on brainstorm innovative concepts and ideas and turn them into living prototypes. His research explores novel interactions between users and objects through the design and implementation of software and hardware prototypes. He is specially interested in HCI, UX Design, IoT, wearable devices, and AR/VR.

His work has been featured in several international conferences and media such as New York Times, MIT Tech Review, FastCo, CHI, UIST and CNN. Previously, he worked at MIT Media Lab and Microsoft Research pushing the boundaries of education, wearable devices, health, and immersive technologies. He holds a master's degree in Media Arts and Sciences from the MIT Media Lab, and a bachelor's in Electrical Engineering and Computer Science from Ramon Llull University.
