Goals
- Extract camera motion (translation and rotation) from an sequence of
images over time.
- No reliance on calibrated (or fixed) camera lens parameters. (This allows
zooms to be tracked.)
- Stable in the long term (I want to track camera motion over a period
of hours, at thirty temporal samples/second.)
- Use of additional inertial instrumentation is possible !
(I am not beyond adding gyros and accelerometers if that is what
is needed for stability.)
