While at Columbia, I worked on a variety of projects including Discovery Web ( an early version of which is online) and the Harlem Environmental Acess Project, a collaborative effort with the Environmental Defense Fund to connect schools in upper Manhattan to the Internet.

A research project on the feasibility of Federal funding for K-12 NII Connectivity culminated in a policy paper.

A paper on the prospects for PBS in the information age is also available.

I evaluated the Augmented Reality project, which introduced undergraduate students from a variety of disciplines to advanced engineering research.

An informal presentation centered on investigating the teaching applications of real data and modeling.
