Go Go Gadget Squirrel!
Has anyone seen
this yet? Supposedly there's new Bluetooth technology coming out to
prevent calls to your cellphone from interrupting something
important, unless the call is itself important. A robotic squirrel
answers the call and engages the caller in limited conversation to
determine the nature of the call.

If
this is real, I want one!

It is sad that our
society has made it possible to buy something like that. (But who
would we be to criticize ) |

find the whole concept incredibly amusing. And the implications for
the robotics field are intreguing as well.

i definitely think a
range of cellular creatures would be great, even just for the
initial novelty.

Interesting, but why
would they make it a squirrel, of all things?

I can't quite
explain it, but for some reasons Squirrels rock.

I was hoping for
something sleek and metallic with incredibly large, but I guess you
can't have everything.
What an adorable idea though, I have a
tendancy of just checking who's calling and ignoring the call if it
seems appropriate. They can always leave a message =).
But
it's a wonderful idea, how incredibly handy and useless at the same
time. I love knickknacks like that.

Jester | Yeah, a secretary takes
incoming cell phone calls directed at his/her employer.
