Matt NorwoodBioMatthew Norwood lives in Toronto. He is training to be a Canadian patent agent. Previously, he served as Counsel at the Software Freedom Law Center in New York, providing legal services to free and open-source software projects. He grew up in Washington, DC and graduated from MIT with a double major in Brain and Cognitive Science and Electrical Engineering and Computer Science before continuing his studies in human-machine interaction and media theory at the MIT Media Lab, where he earned a Masters' in Computer Science. He has worked as a software engineer, an IT manager, a salesman, a teacher, and a documentary film researcher. In 2006, he completed his Juris Doctor at Columbia Law School. |
