Gizmoz Network is an award-winning multimedia and software-development company.
The company has office in Israel and New York City, and excels in visual representation of information. Products include multimedia CD-ROMS, 3D educational games, productivity tools for multimedia creation, unique online locations and the Gizmoz Network ö a rich media customer relationship network.
The 'Makers of the
20th Century' is a reference CD-ROM developed by Gizmoz and published
by News Multimedia, a subsidiary of News Corp. A unique visual interface
was designed on top a database of archived information about the 200
most influential people of the 20th century, owned by News Corp. The
UI is a stunning visual experience, with various ways to access the
archived information through different interface concepts. Developed
between 1994-1995, the ĪMakersā was a pioneering product in its category,
and won several design and interaction awards, including first prize
for Best Designed CD-ROM at the Frankfurt Book Fair 1996.
The secrets of Bletchley park' -
A 3D educational game presenting the secret operations of the British intelligence at the end of World War II. While immersed in a quest game the user learns about the British efforts to stop the Germans and the development of the worldās first computer. The game is visually stunning with 3D Īreal-lifeā graphics resulting in a unique atmosphere of that period in history.
- A multimedia authoring tool, adapted to online advertisers needs.
Using Microsites, a small business can create a rich-media banner with
text, animation, images and sound effects, without any prior knowledge
in multimedia. Built on Sunās Java technology, Microsites banners could
be viewed in any Internet browser without any special plug-in. Forming
a complete solution, Microsites included a "placement engine"
that automatically published and placed banners online. Using a location
and interest filters, businesses used the "placement engine"
and advertised to their target markets.
|'Gizmoz' - The Gizmoz are online rich-media 'components' that can be placed inside a web page or sent via email. The Java-based Gizmoz Online Editor enable users to customize a Gizmo to their needs, adding text, images, animation, sound and creating different interactive events. The whole process from start to finish takes several minutes and does not require any special downloads or installations. The customized Gizmo 'component' is ready to be placed in the user's web site or sent to him/her by email.|
