Gauri Nanda works in design
and engineering. She is a graduate
of the Massachusetts Institute
of Technology Media Lab. Gauri
has also worked for Apple
Computer and has a bachelors
degree in computer science and
art from the University of
Michigan. Some of her notable
designs involve computers that work
by falling to the floor or after
being ripped apart.
After receiving her master's degree
Gauri began Nanda, a company
dedicated to bringing new intriguing
products to market. Nanda's first
product, Clocky, the alarm clock that
runs away was launched in December
2006 and is available for sale at
nandahome.com. Gauri is 27.
