What is NetSound?
NetSound is a structured-audio compositor and synthesizer which
renders sound in real-time using a variety of synthesis
algorithms. It is being developed by the Machine Listening Group at the
Media Lab.
The NetSound project evolved into the Structured Audio part of the MPEG-4 international standard.
