Ideally, we’ll set up one long row of tables instead of individual round tables. This will depend on the number of attendants.

 

 

Description

The Media Lab arts & design festival will include a feast on Saturday night. The feast will be a multisensory experience and is designed to bring the media lab community together. The food involved in the feast, and the setting around the feast, will showcase media lab projects.

The feast will be an overarching project that brings many media lab projects together. Some ideas include:

• Lights, projections, and music that change according to the different courses. The music may also act as “virtual seasoning” for the food.

• affective measurements of diners.

• 3D printed food.

• custom-designed and fabricated utensils and servingware.

• Performances during or after the feast.

• foods that defy expectations.
