These two slides accompanied a talk on the principles of Lifelong Kindergarten given by Professor Mitchel Resnick of the MIT Media Lab. The top illustration shows the traditional kindergarten classroom. The second portrays the typical, lamentable, view of many educators interested in technology in the classroom: that children are vessels to be filled with knowledge downloaded from the computers they use.
