Narrative Navigation and the Multilinear Narrative   Background To my research I bring my experience as a producer of narratives. My professional experience includes working as a producer/director of documentary and news features programs (for broadcast and educational non-broadcast), as well for the Internet and CD-ROM. Prior to that, I worked as a social historian and exhibit curator in history museums. I have an Ed.M from the Harvard University Graduate School of Education (with an emphasis on learning design for new media) and M.A. in American social history from the Cooperstown [NY] Graduate Program in History Museum Studies. On the university and high school-levels, I have taught interactive design, content development, and formative evaluation for new media; and script writing and directing for film/video.
