AVATARS	" e n c o u n t e r "
	The word avatar means an incarnation or the embodiment of a deity or a spirit in an eartly form. When creators of the universe desire to experience earth from the perspective of its inhabitants or if they feel the need to speak with mere mortals, they produce a material body, through which they interact with their creation. If we perceive humans as the deities of cyberspace, stepping into the digital realm requires an avatar of some sort since the material form of our body is incompatible with the bitworld. In fact the term Avatar has been used for any graphical representation of a human in a multi-user computer generated environment. This use of the word was made widely popular by Neal Stephenson's science fiction Snow Crash.
