As a group activity we mimed the banquet scene and the appearance of the ghost of Banquo. The children had limitations on their performance: no props, sets, or use of sound. They used only their bodies and faces to express themselves.

Next, we began a discussion about the role of gender in Shakespeare. This was relevant to their own performances, because some of the children played parts of the opposite sex. Here, one of our students describes what kind of man could play a woman.
