The LilyPad Arduino is a set of sewable electronic components that let you build your own soft, interactive fashion.
To get started with electronic sewing (also known as e-sewing), you'll probably want at least the following:
- some LilyPad LEDs (lights)
- a LilyPad Slide Switch and/or a LilyPad Button Board
- LilyPad Power Supply and/or Coin Cell Holder (a.k.a. "button" battery holder)
- some conductive thread (either a spool or a bobbin)
- a sewing needle (best to use the kind with large "eyes", or threading holes)
- clear nail polish (not neccesary, but very useful!)
