Wren isn't the most common surname around, but there are a disproportionate number of Wren's named Christopher. I was named after the 17th century, English architect and philosopher Sir Christopher Wren. I don't know if this is true for the other C. Wren's out there.
The amazing thing about Christopher Wrens in that they all seem to think they're the only one. I've received many excited emails from C.Wrens out there who happened to find one of my web pages, and were surprised to find another human being named Christopher Wren.
If you've found this page, and happen to be named Christopher Wren, don't send me email. Instead, please send email to cwotw-request@wren.cambridge.ma.us to register yourself as an official Christopher Wren.
I visited the grave of Sir Christopher Wren while in London. He rests in the crypts below his magnificent St. Paul's Cathedral. Elsewhere in my pages is a picture of St. Paul's, and a transcription of Chris' charge to his visitors.
The Dave Directory was obviously at least a partial inspiration for this page.
