Persistence of Media Lab...



I received my Masters here in 1993, and then spent three years as a Cheops wrangler and Research Specialist in the Media Lab's Spatial Imaging Group working on developing and integrating hardware and software resources for the Holovideo project.


I had previously attended MIT in the mid-1980s obtaining my SBEE degree.

Not a bad place to hang out for a while.


In 1996, Silicon Valley caught me in it's gravitational pull. I spent 3 1/2 years at Paul Allen's Interval Research working on novel digital camera systems, wireless networks, and various other broadband consumer applications.

In January 2000, I became a Co-Founder and Director of Engineering at the Interval spin-off Fantasma Networks .


In June 2000, I moved back east to join Ucentric Systems, where I became VP Technology driving technology and intellectual property strategy.


Ucentric was acquired by Motorola in 2005. I have now created the Next-Play Experience group as part of the Connected Home Technology Office.
