What's a Meta For? Kind of like an analogy, but different... Personally, I believe these were written by adults deliberately intent on causing gross insult to literary traditions and not, as is claimed, by high schoolers innocently skewering metaphorical correctness left and right. But, even so, they're kind of funny, just like another ball of wax is round, or like a metaphor is like, funny (etc.)
